Five Star (also spelled “ 5 Star ”) is a British pop group from the London suburb of Romford , consisting of five brothers and sisters [1] [2] . It was founded in 1983. Between 1985 and 1988, the group’s four albums were in the first British twenty, and 15 singles in the first forty. In 1986, the group was nominated for a Grammy in the category "Best Instrumental R&B Performance". In 1987, the year after the triumph of becoming the number 1 album in Britain by Silk and Steel , she received the Brit Award as "The Best British Band".
