Biography
She was born in 1912 in the farm of Novo-Kuznetsovsky Region, the Don Army, now Zernograd District of the Rostov Region.
She began her career in the late 1920s as an ordinary collective farmer . In 1930, she moved to the training and experimental grain farm No. 2 of the Mechetinsky (since 1960 - Zernogradsky) district of the Rostov Region. In 1948, she headed the link for growing wheat at the Uchebno-Experimental farm and that same year, on an area of 25 hectares, the link received a wheat crop of 31.82 centners per hectare.
Theodosia Petrovna died in June 1999.
Rewards
- By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 5, 1949, for receiving high yields of wheat when the state farm fulfilled the plan of delivering agricultural products to the state in 1948 and providing seeds of all crops in the amount of the total need for spring sowing in 1949, Gavrilenko Feodosiya Petrovna was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the presentation Order of Lenin and the Golden Hammer and Sickle Medal.
