History

In Soviet times, the Ilyinsky Village Council was formed. There is a version that the village council appeared in 1954 [15] , but it has not yet been recorded in the Directory of the Administrative Territorial Division of the Crimean Region on June 15, 1960 [16] . For the first time in accessible documents, the Ilyinsky Village Council is found in the reference book “Crimean Region. Administrative-territorial division as of January 1, 1968 ”, where in its structure, besides the modern ones, the village of Sokol was also listed [17] , as well as in the 1977 directory (from January 1 to June 1, 1977 the Falcon was abolished) [18 ] . Since February 12, 1991, the village council in the restored Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [19] , on February 26, 1992, was renamed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea [20] . According to the 2001 All-Ukrainian Census, the population of the council was 2206 people [21] . Since March 21, 2014 - as part of the Republic of Crimea of Russia [22] . The Law "On Establishing the Borders of Municipalities and the Status of Municipalities in the Republic of Crimea" dated June 4, 2014 declared the territory of an administrative unit as a municipality with the status of a rural settlement [23] .
