Biography
Born December 6, 1949 in the city of Radibor. She received her secondary education at the Ludza school in Radibor. She graduated from the College of Economics and the Higher School of Transport in Dresden . In the days of the GDR, she worked at a state enterprise, a law office, and raised children.
In 1972 she joined the Christian Democratic Union . In 1990, she received a deputy mandate in the People’s Chamber of the GDR in the list of the Christian Democratic Union. From 1990 to 1994 she was elected deputy of the Bundestag from the Christian Democratic Union of Germany . Acted as vice-chairman of the Deputy Club. In 2002, she was elected to the Bundestag from the single-member Bautzen district. In 2005 and 2009, she was again elected from the single-member Bautzen district.
Engaged in vigorous social activity among the people of Luga. From 1990 to 1994 she was a member of the Advisory Board of the “ Fund of the Serboluzhitsky People ”. From 1994 to 1999 she was the chairman of the “Fund of the Serboluzhitsky People”. In 1999, she was appointed chairman of the Saxon department of the Donum Vitae Foundation, which is involved in health care. Since 2000, he has been Chairman of the Council of Ludicians under the Government of Saxony.
