Damak ( Nepal. दमक ) is a city and municipality in southeast Nepal . Located in the Jhapa region of the Swords zone of the country's Eastern region . Located between the rivers Ratua Khola (in the east) and Maua Khola (in the west). The area of the municipality is 75.13 km². The Mahendra highway passes through the municipality, crossing the country from west to east.

According to the 2011 census, the population of the municipality is 75,102, of which 35,438 are men and 39,664 are women [1] .
About 5 km from the center of Damak is the Beldangi refugee camp from Bhutan . It consists of three camps located next to each other (Beldangi-1, Beldangi-2 and Beldangi-3), which as of 2011 had a total of about 36,000 people.
