Career
In 1956-61 he was a prize winner in regional, republican and all-union acrobatics competitions.
Coaching career
Since 1959, in coaching. Since 1971, he worked with teams of the RSFSR, the USSR and Russia.
In 2001, he became vice president, and since 2005, the first vice president of the Russian Federation of sports acrobatics.
He prepared two honored masters of sports, 16 masters of sports of international class and more than 100 masters of sports.
At the World and European Championships, the pupils of V. D. Litvinov won 23 gold, 7 silver and 3 bronze awards.
