Theriodonts [1] [2] or the beast-toothed [2] [3] ( lat. Theriodontia ) , - a group of synapsids , one of the three main groups of therapies . Theriodonts include a detachment of cynodonts - the ancestors of modern mammals . Gorgonops and terocephals are also included here . Beetles have similarities with mammals in the structure of the skull, spine and limbs, as well as in the division of teeth into fangs, incisors and molars. The limbs of theriodonts were located under the body, lifting it above the ground.
