Content
AppearanceBody length 30 cm, tail 9 cm. Plumage mostly red, with a darker shade of the neck and chest. On the head is a black “cap”. The wings are green, on the back is a dark-violet sling, the undertail and the feathered part of the legs are purple-black in color.
SpreadThey live in Papua New Guinea in the southeast of the island of New Guinea , the islands of Louisiana and the Bismarck archipelago [2] .
LifestyleSubtropical and wet tropical forests and mangroves inhabit.
