(65590) Archeptolemus ( lat. Archeptolemos ) is the Jupiter Trojan asteroid moving at L 5 , Lagrange, 60 ° behind the planet. The asteroid was discovered on October 17, 1977 by the Dutch astronomers C. Y. van Houten , I. van Houten-Gruneveld and Tom Gerels at the Palomar Observatory and is named after one of the characters of ancient Greek mythology .
