Club career

Arnau is a graduate of the Barcelona club. November 9, 1996 in the match against Atletico Madrid , he made his debut in La Liga . Francesc was the third goalkeeper of the team after Ruud Hesp and Pepe Reynah therefore rarely even got into the bid and played mainly for Barcelona B. Despite this fact, he twice won the championship, won the Spanish Cup and Super Cup , and also won the Cup Winners' Cup .

In 2001, Arnau moved to Malaga . The transfer amount was 2.1 million euros. Until 2003, he was the substitute of Pedro Contreras and after the departure of the latter he was selected as team captain. In 2007, Francesc lost the competition to Inaki Goitiya . In 2009, a competitor moved to Betis , but Gustavo Munua replaced him and was hired by Roberto Santamaría . Arnau became the third goalkeeper of the team. In 2010, the Uruguayan left the "anchovies" and Francesc again gained a place in the base, but after he made several successful mistakes, he was transferred to the reserve. On May 21, 2011, Arnau played his last match in his career, replacing Willy Caballero at the end of the bout against his native Barcelona club [2] .
