Content
Geography
The settlement is located in the northern part of the region, in the steppe Crimea , leaving in the north to the coast of the Karkinitsky Bay of the Black Sea . It borders in the east with Chernyshevsky , Razdolnensky and Kovylnovsky , in the south with Serebryansky and in the west with Slavic rural settlements (according to the administrative division of Ukraine - with the corresponding village councils ) [5] .
The settlement area is 65.25 km² [1] .
The main transport highway: 35K-012 Black Sea-Voininka highway [6] (according to the Ukrainian classification - T-0107 [7] ).

History
On February 8, 1988, the Kukushka Village Council [13] was established in the Crimea region of the Ukrainian SSR in the USSR [13] by isolating villages from the Serebryansky Village Council [14] . According to the All-Ukrainian Census of 2001, the council population was 1,787 people [15] . Since February 12, 1991, the village council in the restored Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [16] , on February 26, 1992, was renamed the Autonomous Republic of Crimea [17] . From March 21, 2014 - as part of the Republic of Crimea of Russia [18] . The law "On the establishment of the boundaries of municipalities and the status of municipalities in the Republic of Crimea" of 4 June 2014 declared the territory of the administrative unit a municipal entity with the status of a rural settlement [19] .
