Biography
Born approx. 1830 [2] . Before taking monasticism and priesthood, he was a Don Cossack [1] .
November 30, 1879 in Novocherkassk put in the bishop of the Caucasus. Archbishop of Ismail Vissarion [2] headed the ordination.
On February 11, 1894, the diocesan missionary Archimandrite Isidor (Kolokolov) abolished the St. Nicholas Skete, founded by Bishop Job (Zryanin) . The inhabitants of the skete dispersed, and Siluan was sent to the Don for residence. An Orthodox Nikolsky missionary monastery was established at the site of the monastery [1] .
On July 27, 1902, the Consecrated Old Believers 'Bishops' Council granted Bishop Siluyan's application for retirement due to health reasons: local bishop " [3] .
He died on December 17, 1902, in the farm Malozapadenskom Don region [3] .
July 11, 1904, his imperishable remains were transferred to Novocherkassk [3] .
