History

The village of Ohromovshina is mentioned on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834 [2] .

AHROMOVSHINA - the village belongs to the Treasury, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 35 m. p. [3] (1838)

As the village of Ohromovshina, it is marked on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [4] .

OKHROMOVSHINA - a village of the State Property Office, on a country road, the number of yards is 24, the number of souls is 38 m. [5] (1856)


OKHROMOVSHCHINA - the treasury village by the Jeloshne River, the number of courtyards - 20, the number of inhabitants: 40 m., 47 railways. n [6] . (1862 year)

The compilation of the Central Statistical Committee described it like this:

OKHROMOVSHCHINA - the former state village at the Eloshne river, 16 yards, 82 residents; windmill, shop. (1885) [7]

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Usadishche-Spassovskaya (Usadishchi) volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozhsky district of St. Petersburg province.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Okhromovschina was part of the Karpinsky rural society [8] .

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, there were two windmills in the village of Okhromovschina [9] .

From 1917 to 1923, the village was part of the Usadishche-Spassovskaya volost of Novoladozh district.

Since 1923, as part of the Okhromovschinsky village council of the Proletarian volost of the Volkhov district .

Since 1924, as part of the Karpinsky Village Council.

Since 1927, as part of the Volkhov district.

In 1928, the population of the village was 190 people [10] .

According to 1933, the village of Ohromovschina was part of the Karpinsky village council of the Volkhov district [11] .

In 1958, the population of the village was 45 people.

Since 1960, as part of the Usadishchensky village council [10] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Ohromovschina was also part of the Usadishchensky village council of the village council [12] [13] [14] .

In 1997, 12 people lived in the village of Okhromovschina of the Usadishchensky volost, in 2002 - also 12 people (all Russians) [15] [16] .

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the highway 41K-057 ( Ulyashevo - Podvyazye - Myslino ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 6 km [17] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Myslino is 7 km [12] .

The village is located on the right bank of the Eloshnya River.
