January
  • January 1 - Units of the Polish People’s Army attacked an UPA detachment in the village of Lyakhava (now the Subcarpathian Voivodeship ). After the departure of Bandera , who lost 7 people, soldiers shot 9 villagers, including two teenagers, under the pretext of helping Bandera [1] .
