Biography
Anatoly Brezvin was born on January 8, 1956 in the village. Holoby Kovelsky district of the Volyn region ( Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) in a family of employees. In 1973 he graduated from high school.
From September 1973, during the year, he worked as an employee of the Golobsky fruit-canning factory of the procurement department of the Volyn regional consumer union. From September to November 1973, he worked as a worker at the Golobsky beet plant of the Vladimir-Volyn Sugar Plant of the Lviv Inter-District Beetroot Sakhartrest of the Ministry of Food and Industry of the Ukrainian SSR. Then for two years he served in the Soviet Army. From February to July 1977 he attended courses at the preparatory department of the Kiev Institute of National Economy . Since September, he was enrolled as a student of the aforementioned university at the Faculty of Accounting and Economics. In 1981, he graduated from the institute, branch of “Accounting in Industry”, specializing in economist-financier.

In 2001, he graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in International Law. PhD in Economics. He defended his thesis on "Economic methods of regulating the industrial processing of agricultural products" (Institute of Agricultural Economics of the UAAS, 2001). He has the title of Honored Economist of Ukraine. For scientific and practical activities he was awarded the medal "For the Work of the Institute" (2002).
He was awarded the Order of Merit of the III degree (10.1997), II degree (08.1999), I degree (10.2004); Order “For the Rosbudova of Ukraine” named after M. Grushevsky IV degree (04.2001); Order of Yaroslav the Wise, V degree.
President of the FHU
On December 8, 2006, at the premises of the Kiev City Council of Trade Unions at the FHU General Congress, the resignation of Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Omelchenko from the post of president of the FHU was accepted. On October 31, 2008, in Kiev, at the FHU General Congress, on an uncontested basis, he was unanimously re-elected as president of the FHU . [2]
On October 25, 2012, Anatoly Brezvin was re-unanimously re-elected as president of the Ukrainian Hockey Federation . [3]
During the tenure of Anatoly Brezvin as president of the FHU, the Ukrainian government adopted the state target program “Hockey of Ukraine”, as part of which 12 modern sports facilities with artificial ice were built, the first of which was the Donetsk sports complex “Leader”. This was followed by arenas in Kalush , Kherson , Kharkov . Two main indoor arenas of the country were also reconstructed: the Kiev Sports Palace and the Druzhba Sports Palace ( Donetsk ).
