Biography
Born on November 14, 1913 in the village of Upper Mezhi of the Russian Empire, now the Kologrivsky District of the Kostroma Region.
He began to work after graduation as a bricklayer in Novosibirsk . After graduating from a construction college, he headed a brigade and was a foreman. In 1935 he was drafted into the Red Army and sent as part of the construction battalion for the construction of Komsomolsk-on-Amur facilities. With the beginning of World War II he was appointed construction manager of the battery plant, which went into operation in June 1943, for which Korolev was awarded the Order of the Red Star .
After the war, as an experienced builder and organizer, Evgeny Nikiforovich in 1953 was sent to rebuild the city of Kalinin. Then he worked in Siberia, where he headed the trust number 47 of Krasnoyarskpromkhimstroy. For post-war labor achievements he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1958. Then Korolev went to work in Tatarstan, in Nizhnekamsk , where since 1963 he led the team of builders of the Tatenergostroy department. He built the Nizhnekamsk Petrochemical Plant and built a city of petrochemists next to it. Here in 1971 he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
In addition to the production, Evgeny Nikiforovich was engaged in social activities - he was elected as a deputy of the city council and the Supreme Council of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. After retirement he was on a well-deserved rest.
He died in 2001.
Rewards
- In 1971, E. N. Korolev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin .
- He was also awarded the Orders of the Red Star (1943) and the Red Banner of Labor (1958), and medals.
- Honored Builder of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

- In 2002, Nizhnekamsk Hero installed a monument at the building of the Nizhnekamsk Polytechnic College [1] , which bears his name. Sculptor - R. Safin, architects - A. Kh. Akhmadiyarov and F. G. Khanov.
- In the college itself, a bust of Korolev and a museum are installed. [2]
- At house number 8 on the street The school boulevard where Korolev lived has a memorial plaque . [3] [4]
- On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of E. N. Korolyov [5] , a special booklet [6] was published in Nizhnekamsk.
