Biography
Paul Moon was born in Bergerac in 1847 . He was the younger brother of actor Jean Mune-Sully . He studied as a doctor, but subsequently chose a game in the cinema and theater. Mune's acting debut took place in 1880 at the Paris Odeon Theater in the play Horace .
In 1889 , Paul first played in Comedy Francaise , and two years later he became his co-sitter . Mune gained recognition thanks to the roles of the plays Erinia, The Girl from Arles, Othello , Patry, Hamlet , Rage, Anthony, King, Riddle, Daedalus and King Oedipus . "
Mune played in several films, starred in the 1909 silent black and white film Macbeth , directed by Andre Calmett .
Mune served in the Paris Conservatory as a professor , among his students Pierre Frenet, Valentin Tessier, Helene Dudon, Francois Rosset, Marioard Ventura. He was awarded the title of Knight of the Legion of Honor .
Mune died of heart disease on February 10, 1922 [2] .
