Dibrachionostylus (lat.) Is a monotypic genus of dicotyledonous plants of the family Marenova ( Rubiaceae ), including the species Dibrachionostylus kaessneri ( S. Moore ) Bremek. [2] . Originally described by Spencer Le Marchant Moore as part of the genus Oldenlandia (called Oldenlandia kaessneri ) [3], the species was isolated into a separate genus by the Dutch botanist Cornelis Elise Bertus Bremekamp in 1952 [4] .

Leaves 1.5–5.4 × 0.2–0.8 cm in size, usually spiky, not pubescent.
Petals of whitish, lilac and lilac color.
The fruit is a box . Seeds are tan [7] . The species Dibrachionostylus kaessneri was isolated from Oldenlandia due to differences in the structure of the box-fruit. K. Б .. B. Bremekamp brings together the only representative of Dibrachionostylus with the genus Agathisanthemum [8] .
The number of chromosomes is n = 9 [8] .
