Fortune 1000 - a list of the largest US companies according to the American magazine " Fortune ". The list includes the 1000 largest US companies, ranked by income. The list shows the largest players, allows you to assess market trends.
Wal-Mart Stores was number 1 on the list for four of the last five years (2007-2011), interrupted only by ExxonMobil in 2009 [1] [2] [3] .

Fortune 500
Fortune 500 is a subscription to Fortune 1000 and includes the first 500 largest companies. The very first Fortune 500 list was published in 1955 and consisted of companies that received income from production, coal mining or electricity. At the same time, Fortune magazine also published listings of the 50 largest commercial banks, utilities, insurance companies, retailers, and transport companies.
