Content

History

Founded as a branch number 3 of the farm № 8 "Volga". The name Krasnopartizansky was given by the decision of the Volgograd Regional Executive Committee of September 10, 1966, No. 20/531 [2] .

Physical-geographical characteristic

The village is located in the steppe within the western slope of the Ergeninsky Upland, belonging to the East European Plain, in the headwaters of the Rot Aksay River [3] . The average height above sea level is about 115 meters [3] . In the environs of the settlement chestnut solonetsous and solonchak soils are widespread [4] .

Geographical position

The distance to the regional center of the city of Volgograd (to the center of the city) is 110 km, to the district center of the village Svetly Yar - 87 km [5] , to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village Privolzhsky - about 27 km.
