Dave was born and raised in Iowa. At school, he began to play the guitar, where he performed in the jazz group. In 2000 he moved to Las Vegas, where he works as a salesman in a clothing store “Banana Republic”
Meeting Flowers and the creation of The Killers
Even before meeting with Brandon Flowers, the future vocalist of The Killers , Dave begins to compose music, including one of the most famous songs of the group “ Mr. Brightside . In 2001, Kyuning responded to a newspaper ad posted by Brandon Flowers about finding a guitar player. Later, Brandon said that he was desperate to find a guitarist, because people called him with completely frivolous intentions. At the first meeting, Kyuning shows Brandon the melody “ Mr. Brightside , to which Brandon soon wrote the words. Since then, the musicians have been inseparable.
Personal Life
Dave has a son Kyler (born 2005). Kyuning likes to spend her free time at their homes in Las Vegas or San Diego. He was influenced by such musicians as Robert Smith, Billy Corgan, Bernard Sumner, Jimi Hendrix.
