The Radomyshl district ( Ukrainian: Radomishlsky district ) is an administrative unit in the east of the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine . The administrative center is the city of Radomyshl .

Geography

The main river is the Grouse .

The climate is temperate continental, winters are mild with cloudy weather and fogs, the average air temperature in January is 6 degrees, but frosts sometimes reach 30-35 degrees. Soils freeze to 60 cm. Duration without a frost period is 150-170 days. Spring is cool in the first half and warm in the second half. Summer is moderately warm, periods with clear and dry weather alternate with rain. July temperature is +19 degrees, but in some years reaches +30 degrees. Autumn in the first half is dry, warm and clear; in the second - cool with cloudy weather. The winds are mainly western, northwest; in winter - southeastern, wind speed - 3-4 m / s. Snow cover - 12-30 cm.
