Biography

Born on September 26, 1946 in Leningrad , in the Kolomna district (on Pokrovka). A descendant of the participant of the Polish uprising of 1830, Francis Lukashak (Lukash), whose family was expelled in 1831 from the Kingdom of Poland to the Sestroretsk arms factory (as serfs).

In 1961 he graduated from 8 classes (schools No. 228, 244, 245, boarding school No. 36) and entered the Leningrad Radio Polytechnic for full-time studies, which he graduated in 1965 with a degree in radio engineering .

Actively involved in various sports: football, basketball , ice skating , skiing and cycling . He had sports categories in these sports (except for skates). A participant in urban (Leningrad) competitions in cycling (1964, 20 km) and skiing (1965, 15 km).

In 1967-1973, he studied at the North-West Technical University (formerly North-Western State Pedagogical Institute) in the correspondence department, where he graduated with a degree in radio engineer .

From February 16, 1966 to November 1984, he worked at the Polar Geophysical Institute of the Kola Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences ( Apatity , Murmansk ) as a laboratory assistant, technician, engineer and chief of expeditionary detachments. Member of the Arctic wintering (1966-68, Cape Zhelaniya , Novaya Zemlya Island ) as well as expeditions to the Far North , North Karelia , etc.

In 1984-1990, he worked as an adjuster for instrumentation and automation and the head of the diagnostic group of the Leningrad Engineering Association "Pargolovsky Plant".

In 1990 - 1992 - head of the football department of Time Out magazine (Leningrad).

Since 1992 - chief editor of the newspaper "Football Archive" (St. Petersburg) [2] .

Journalist Activities

A sports journalist, author of numerous books and articles on the history of Russian and St. Petersburg football, one of the creators of the film “Spy from the center of the attack” [3] .

He began to attend the matches of “Zenith” (Leningrad) since 1958. He flew to them even from the northern expeditions. At the same time he collected football programs, paraphernalia and photographs related to football and its history. Gradually, this hobby grew into the profession of a sports journalist, an expert on the history of sports and, in particular, football.

He devoted almost half a century to his work and was the first to work in the archives of the KGB and FSB in search of unique historical facts concerning the first Russian and Soviet football players [4] . From February 1998 to May 2001 he visited the FSB Archive in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, where he worked on the topic “Repressed Sport”. The names of more than 120 repressed athletes have been established [5] .

He first published photographs of the history of Russian football in 1912: one of them depicts delegates to the constituent conference of the All-Russian Football Union , the second St. Petersburg part of the Russian team when sent to Stockholm for the Olympics . For the first time, a snapshot of 1923 with the Russian national football team ( RSFSR national team ) was published on the first foreign tour in Scandinavia [6] . Pictures of the 60s previously published by him, among which a unique black and white photo of the great goalkeeper Lev Yashin, were never published.

He is one of the authors of the Chronicle of Russian Football project [7] .

Author of historical materials and inscribed tabs of the newspaper “For Zenith” (2008, 19 issues and 4 special issues). He is the author and compiler of gift booklets (over 35 issues) dedicated to the history of St. Petersburg and domestic football, produced for Zenit home games (2010-2012).

The editor of football broadcasts (more than 150, commentators: G. Orlov , V. Gusev and V. Kazachenok ) Channel 5 , TRK St. Petersburg under the title Italian Championship (1994-98) and FA Cup. Written and consultant of five films related to the themes of football, sports (2002-2005). First: “A Spy from the Center of Attack” (2002; author). The latter: Garpastum (2005; consultant).

Author of publications in the international press (in different countries) on the history of football in Russia. International expert.

Author of a gift album, exhibition, texts, film consultant for the 100th anniversary of the Russian Football Union at the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg (01/19/2012).

The author-compiler of the official booklet (07/09/2017) dedicated to the 2018 World Cup .

The author of the idea and design of the monument G.A. Duperron , the founder of national football, on the Speranskaya path of the Smolensk Orthodox cemetery (opened on September 4, 1997 during the Festival "100 Years of National Football"), as well as A.D. MacPherson - a Petersburger, the first chairman of the All-Russian Football Union (plus the practical implementation of the plan with his son P.Yu. Lukosyak), at the Smolensk German cemetery (opened on October 24, 2004).

Repeatedly assisted the Zenit football club, starting in 1992, in drafting various regulatory documents, including the first provision on veterans, and museum work. Member of numerous exhibitions. Helps expand Zenit museum funds to this day.

On September 22, 1997, in the Corfu Hall of the main building of the Russian National Library, organized (together with the library exhibition department) an exhibition entitled "George A. Duperron - the founder of national football."

Consultant and coordinator of various projects related to the history of sports in St. Petersburg. one of the most significant: compiling a sports exposition of the city museum in Pavlovsk (2003) and an exposition of a bicycle museum in Peterhof (2006-2007).

Continues many years of work (since 1984) in various archives of Russia, Sweden, Finland and other countries. Based on the vast accumulated historical material on the history of football, as well as thanks to the Finnish sports archives, he established that Russia retained membership in FIFA until 1927.

Family

Great-grandfather Vicentius Franz Lukashak (later - Lukosyak, the surname was transformed over time) was transferred to the civic estate in 1869 and was endowed with a plot of land in the Tarkhov spill area. Grandfather Pavel Vitsentevich (received the title of "Sestroretsky rural man in the street") and his sibling Nikolai - gunsmiths, artisans, worked at the arms factory for many years.

Father Pavel Pavlovich (09/14/1906, St. Petersburg - 01/09/1961, Leningrad) and mother Elena Dmitrievna (05/23/1921, farm Zaroshcha, Mtsensky district, Oryol region - 05/09/1991, Leningrad) - participants of the Great Patriotic War (st .technical lieutenant and senior sergeant of the medical service, respectively), persons with disabilities.

Children: Arina, 12/30/1978 and Pavel, 05/20/1982.

Grandchildren: Alexandra Evgenievna (Vinogradova), 03/26/2012.
