History
On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Myslen is mentioned, consisting of 50 peasant households [2] .
MYSLINA - the village belongs to the Treasury, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 137 m. P., 125 g. p. [3] (1838)
As the village of Myslena from 50 yards, it is marked on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [4] .
MYSLINA - a village of the State Property Office, on a country road, the number of yards - 68, the number of souls - 161 mp. [5] (1856)
MYSLINO - the state-owned village at the well, the number of yards - 71, the number of inhabitants: 148 m., 168 railways. P.; Orthodox chapel [6] . (1862 year)

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Usadishche-Spassovskaya (Usadishchi) volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozhsky district of St. Petersburg province.
According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Myslino was part of the Myslinsky rural society [8] .
According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition and the map of the Petersburg province of the 1922 edition, the village was called Myslena [9] [10] .
From 1917 to 1923, the village was part of the Usadishche-Spassovskaya volost of Novoladozh district.
Since 1923, as part of the Usadishchensky village council of the Proletarian volost of the Volkhov district .
Since 1924, as part of the Usadishche-Spassovsky Village Council.
Since 1927, as part of the Usadishchensky village council of the Volkhov district [11] .
According to 1933, the village was called Myslino and was part of the Usadishchensky village council of the Volkhov district [12] .
In 1939, the population of the village was 521 people.
In 1958, the population of the village was 400 people [11] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Myslino was also part of the Usadishchensky village council [13] [14] [15] .
In 1997, 77 people lived in the village of Myslino, Usadischensky volost, in 2002 - 57 people (Russians - 96%) [16] [17] .
In 2007, 50 people were in the village of Myslino, Usadischensk Joint Venture [18] .
Geography
The village is located in the southern part of the district on the highway 41K-057 ( Ulyashevo - Podvyazye - Myslino ), at the junction of the highway 41K-060 ( Myslino - Dubrovo - Zelenets ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 4 km [18] .
The village is located near the railway line Volkhovstroy I - Vologda I. The distance to the nearest railway station Myslino is 1 km [13] .
