History

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Dubrova , consisting of 29 peasant households, is mentioned [2] .

DUBROVA - the village belongs to the Treasury, the number of inhabitants under the audit: 74 m., 81 g. P.
From it in 12 versts there is a monastery in the name of Rev. Martyri Zelenetsky [3] . (1838)

As the village of Dobrova, it is marked on the map of F. F. Schubert in 1844 [4] .

DUBROVA - village of the State Property Office, on a country road, the number of yards - 40, the number of souls - 78 m. [5] (1856)

In 1881-1882, temporarily liable peasants of the village bought their land allotments from EK Naryshkina and became the owners of the land [7] .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Usadishche-Spassovskaya (Usadishchi) volost of the 2nd camp of the Novoladozh district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village of Dubrova was part of the Myslinsky rural society [8] .

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod provinces of the 1915 edition, the village was called Dubrova , and the barracks of railway workers were designated at the village [9] .

According to 1933, the village was called Dubrovo and was part of the Usadishchensky village council of the Volkhov district [10] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Dubrovo was also part of the Usadishchensky village council [11] [12] [13] .

In 1997, 21 people lived in the village of Dubrovo, Usadishchensky volost, in 2002 - 18 people (all Russians) [14] [15] .

In 2007, there were also 21 people in the village of Dubrovo, Usadischensky JV [16] .

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the district on the highway 41K-060 ( Myslino - Dubrovo - Zelenets ), at the platform 143 km on the railway line Volkhovstroy I - Vologda I.

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 5 km [16] .

The distance to the Myslino railway station is 3 km [11] .

Near the village flows the river Polona .
