Poltura ( Hungarian Poltura ) is a coin minted from the 16th century for Hungary and Transylvania . Chasing was especially intensive in the 17th century [1] [2] [3] .
During the Rakoczi uprising, several mints under the control of the rebels, in 1704-1707, minted copper coins in 1, 4, 10, and 20 half-pieces [4] .
In Silesia, the Billonian line was minted in 1744, under King Frederick II [5] .
Until 1759, poltours were minted from silver (with the exception of the copper half-posture of Leopold I of 1701-1703 and the Rakoczy uprising of 1704-1707). Since 1763, only copper polishing has been minted. In 1775, the minting of the half-arm was discontinued [6] .
