Edward Connelly ( born Edward Connelly ; December 30, 1859 - November 21, 1928 ) is an American actor in theater and cinema of the silent film era. He starred in 69 films from 1914 to 1929.

Biography
Edward Connelly began his career in the theater in 1883 as an artist of vaudeville. His career on Broadway began in 1900 in the musical Beauty of New York. The last Broadway performance took place in 1918 in the play “ Wild Duck ” by Henrik Ibsen with Alla Nazimova .
He began acting in films since 1914 (Good Devil; Edwin S. Porter, adaptation of the play of the same name staged on Broadway in 1913). Edward Connelly during the silent film period appeared in 69 films and mainly produced by " MGM " (Metro Pictures Corporation in 1924). His last film, shot in 1928, was released in May 1929, a few months after his death.
