People live on Monzino due to lack of funds: they live on Monzino, and they rent out a city apartment. The number of gardeners living in summer on Monzino exceeds several thousand. Thus, Monzino is the largest community of gardeners in the vicinity of Nizhny Tagil .

Monzino is located north of Yekaterinburg in the vicinity of Nizhny Tagil , south of it at a distance of about 2 km. Attractions
Monzino is one of the most beautiful places in the Urals . Gardens of the village are complex in their location and layout. in the gardens there are many interesting cozy places among birch groves and backwaters, there are several sandy beaches and moorings for swimming. In the woods at the fringes you can see bonfires with home-made benches, each house near the river and on Tagil pond has its own moorings for boats. On Monzino near the gardens there are tennis courts and football pitches with a goal.
Monzin Mines
Mining is the local name for small ponds formed on the Tagil River at the site of gold mining in the middle of the 20th century. One of the ponds is located close to the railway station and is separated from it only by road. At the southern extreme point of the Tagal pond there is Vodokachka island, on which there is a water station and part of the collective garden UVZ-10. The island separates the pond from the Monzinsky workings. During the summer, there are many boats with resting gardeners at the pond and workings.
Tagilstroevsky Garden Lakes
The largest collective garden of the village of Monzino "Tagilstroy-3" is located along the Tagil River and has access to the development ponds. Farther from the station in the back of the garden along two streets there are partially swampy small lakes. Through some of them, streams flow over which pedestrian bridges are thrown. Near these lakes, small garden houses have an architecture similar to the Moscow dachas.
KoksoKhim Base and Terema
Between the collective gardens of VZHR-3 and UVZ-10, the forest and Tagilsky Pond, there is a recreation center KoksoKhim with a large pantone pier for boats and swimming. An asphalt path and walkways lead from the base to it. Near the recreation center on the territory of the VZHR-3 garden there are several high country houses, which are considered the first country-garden houses in the village. Monzino began to be inhabited by gardeners in the 1960s, but before that, these cottages belonging to the large heads of the Nizhny Tagil factories had been here for several years. The buildings of the recreation center and the first dachas of Monzino constitute a single architectural complex. All buildings have a rather bizarre look. The main building of the recreation center was built in the Russian style , it is a tall wooden tower with balconies and a terrace on a stone base and with a large porch, the height of the building is 4 floors. On the territory of the base near it there are two more one-story wooden buildings that complement the main one. The administration and security of the base and the dining room are located in them. At the base, the architectural ensemble is complemented by several wooden sculptures. Villas nearby the base are also on old Russian towers from fairy tales and in terms of their luxury each of them can argue with modern mansions in the suburbs of megalopolises. The height of country houses reaches four floors. The recreation center and the first monzin dachas are located at the edge of a pine forest and are surrounded by pine trees on all sides.
Nightingale Grove
On the other side of the railway, behind the swamp are the NTMK-1 and NTMK-2 gardens. The name of the NTMK-2 garden was not given by chance. There are many birch groves in the garden, which makes these places look like illustrations of Russian fairy tales. In the groves, locals put together shops, in the grove opposite the local store there is a playground. There is also a birch forest near the garden that separates the NTMK-2 garden from the Forest ranger garden. Near the swamp coming to the garden, pedestrian walkways from the station go through the swampy backwaters in a large birch grove. This place resembles a landscape from the painting by the artist V. M. Vasnetsov “ Alyonushka ”.
Cliff of Polyana
Above the swamp in the central part of the village of Monzino, on the opposite side of the railway line from Tagil Pond, near the collective garden NTMK-1, there is a small cliff overgrown with mixed forest. Its steep slope is directed towards the swamp and, as it were, hangs over it; the station is clearly visible from it. The collective garden itself is partially located on its slopes. At the foot of the cliff lies a large stone-wave with a crown carved on it. On a cliff among birch and pine groves and individual trees there are many glades, on which there are several bonfires with home-made benches. Glade on a cliff is a popular vacation spot with local residents. At night, when there are many stars in the sky, this place becomes similar to the paintings of the artist Yutaka Kagaya .
Dutch house
In the depths of the NTMK-1 garden there is an unusual garden house built in the mid-1960s by one of the residents of the garden. This house is unusual in that it is built in the Dutch architectural style . The house is small, wooden on a stone base. The house consists of a one-story outbuilding, in which the roof on the side of its facade has a stepped shape (imitation of medieval summer English and Dutch houses), and a summer one-story guest house with a small stepped turret, because of which the locals call the house a simple teremok. The house is surrounded by a lush garden with bushes, similar to a park through which a winding stone alley leads from the road to the house. In front of the house there is a two-story meadow with a gazebo and benches, around which a flower garden is laid out. The upper tier is reinforced with masonry imitating the wall of an old castle.
This house is the only Dutch-style building in the entire northern part of the Sverdlovsk region . It is especially noteworthy that it was built in the Urals , in the suburbs of an industrial city in the 1960s in the USSR . In 1975, an article was written about this Dutch house on Monzino in the Nizhny Tagil newspaper Consilium.
Incidents
In June 2012, a flood broke out due to a dam on the Shaitanka River in the neighboring village of Nikolo-Pavlovsky in some gardens on Monzino. The gardens of Metalist and Tagilstroy-3 were partially flooded. According to eyewitnesses, in some garden plots the water rose to 30 cm.
