Biography

Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Moscow Institute of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov ( 1987 ) and correspondence postgraduate study with a degree in Computer Science and Programming ( 1991 ).

Since 1987, the programmer - Research Institute "Sunrise".

Since 1990 - Sales and Marketing Director of Paragraph and Mikroinform joint ventures engaged in software distribution, including the Russian text editor Lexicon .

In 1994, she became the Corporate Client Relations Manager for the Microsoft representative office in Moscow, and in 1995 she headed the representative office [1] , becoming the only woman among 56 heads of Microsoft representative offices in various regions of the world. Over the years in which Olga Dergunova led the Russian representative office of Microsoft, its staff grew from 20 to 70 people, and annual income increased by more than 10 times [2] .

In 2002, The Wall Street Journal included Olga Dergunova among the 25 most successful and influential business women in Europe [3] . In a similar list in 2004, Dergunova took the position in the top ten [4] .

From 2004 to June 2007 - President of Microsoft in Russia and the CIS [5] .

Since 2007, she joined the Management Board of VTB Bank [6] . Since 2010 - Member of the Board of Directors of Transneft [7] [8] . In 2010-2012, he was a member of the Board of Directors and then Chairman of the Board of Directors of Subsidiary JSC VTB Bank (Kazakhstan).

On June 29, 2012, Chairman of the Government of Russia D. A. Medvedev, by decree No. 1127-r, appointed O. K. Dergunova as Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation - as the head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) [9] . On February 6, 2015, O. Dergunova reprimanded by order of the Prime Minister [10] . On April 12, 2016 she was relieved of her post due to transfer to another job [11] [12] .
