Biography

Born 1809 in Vienna in the family of Sofia Wilhelmina and Joseph Koberveynov, who served in the Burgtheater .

Received primary home education. In 1822-1864 she worked at the Hofburg Theater. In 1830 she married , worked with him at the National Theater of Munich , and in 1865 she retired.

Her daughter Maria Koberwain was also an actress, actor Friedrich Arnsburg (1816–1891) was a son-in-law, and granddaughter Marie Arnsburg (1862–1940) was a painter.

Died December 27, 1889 in Vienna, was buried at the Matslaysdorf Lutheran cemetery in Vienna.

The Burgtheater Glory Gallery houses a portrait of the actress, made by her uncle, artist Georg Koberwein.
