The New Zealand women's national field hockey team ; nicknamed “Women with Black Sticks ,” the Black Sticks Women, is the women's field hockey team representing New Zealand on the international stage. The governing body of the team is the New Zealand Field Hockey Federation .

The team’s best achievements include 2nd place at the 2010 Commonwealth Games , 3rd place at the 2011 Women's Champions Trophy , 4th place at the 1986 World Cup and 2012 Olympic Games .
The national team is one of the ten strongest in the world, takes (as of June 16, 2014) the 4th place in the ranking of the International Field Hockey Federation (FIH).
