Biography
In 1954 he graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute (LETI), faculty of electronic technology. He worked there: researcher, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor.
Head of the Department of Electronic Devices and Devices (1966-2007), Dean of the FEL (1972-2003). Organizer (1975) and supervisor of the industrial laboratory of electron beam and ion-plasma technology.
Candidate of Technical Sciences (1954), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1977), Professor (1978).
He has published more than 250 scientific papers, including 16 monographs.
Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1992). State Prize of the Russian Federation (2000). Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1980), October Revolution (1986), Honor (2002); medals. Honorary radio operator of the USSR (1982), honorary worker of the electronics industry (1986), honorary worker of higher education of the Russian Federation .
USSR Master of Sports , two-time (1957, 1958) champion of the Soviet Union in rowing .
