Beatrix (theater)

Beatrix ( n. Het Beatrix Theater ) is a theater in Jarbeurs Square in Utrecht , the Netherlands . It belongs to the theater company « Stage Entertainment ». Named after Queen Beatrix .

History

The theater building was built in 1999 by the architect Arno Majds . In fact, it is part of the " Jarbeurs " complex. By the opening of the theater in the square Dzharbeurs established the monument "Exposure" of the Dutch sculptor Pepe Gregoire .

In 2003 the theater was reconstructed.

As in all the theaters of the company «Stage Entertainment», in the "Beatrix" there is an exhibition of paintings by contemporary artists [1] .
