The School for Free Freedom School is an architectural monument of federal significance (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 176 dated 02/20/1995 [1] ), located at Izhevsk, ul. K. Liebknecht , 17. Now the building houses a boarding school number 75 [3] .

History
In 1922, the workers of Izhmash founded a βschool-building committeeβ, to which fund they voluntarily deducted two percent of their monthly salary for the construction of schools.
In 1923, the construction of the school building began, on June 18, 1924, after a solemn meeting at five corners of the future building, five-pointed stars were symbolically laid. At the very end of 1925 the building was built, and on January 30, 1926, the first students (786 people) came to Freedom School No. 31 [3] . The first head of the school is the delegate of the 1st All-Russian Congress of Teachers, Ksenia Mikhailovna Ivshina.
During the Great Patriotic War, a hospital was organized in the building.
Since 1971, in the school building there is a special (correctional) educational institution for students, pupils with disabilities, βSecondary boarding school No. 75β [2] .
