Lyudmila Grigorievna Shumilova (born August 2, 1969 ) - Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan ( underwater orientation ), international class master of sports in modern pentathlon. Career
Lyudmila came into underwater orientation in September 1982, having tried a lot of sports: volleyball, and handball, and skiing, and gymnastics. In January 1983, she won the championship of the Kazakh SSR. In the USSR team since 1987, but the first trip abroad was the European Championship in Germany in 1991.
In early 1992, she went to the world championship in underwater orienteering in Austria, where she became the sixth in a pair and the fourth in the individual competition. In 1994 she became the world champion.
In December 1998, she came to the pentathlon, not leaving scuba diving either.
Lyudmila is a three-time honored master of sports in underwater orienteering, swimming in flippers and an underwater marathon. And also Shumilova - an international class master of sports in modern pentathlon, a master of sports in bullet shooting, fencing, equestrian sports.
