Aleksandr Viktorovich Postoalko (born June 21, 1976, Unecha , Bryansk Region ) - Guard Major of the RF Armed Forces , participant in the Second Chechen War , Hero of the Russian Federation ( 2000 ). At the time of conferring the title of Hero, he was the platoon commander of the artillery battery control unit of the 1141st Guards Artillery Regiment of the 7th Guards Red Banner Order of Kutuzov, 2nd class of the Airborne Division, in 2007 - in reserve, since 2013 - the head of the city administration of Unecha, Bryansk Region .

Biography
Born June 21, 1976 in the city of Unecha, Bryansk region. From 1983 to 1993 he studied at school number 1 [1] .
In 1993, he joined the Armed Forces. In 1998, he graduated from the Mikhailovsky Higher Artillery Command School with a degree in electrical engineering [1] , after which he entered the service in the airborne troops.
Since 1998 - the commander of a self-propelled artillery platoon, after - the platoon commander of the artillery battery control unit of the 1141st Guards Artillery Regiment ( Anapa ).
From September 1999 to February 2000, he was a participant in the second Chechen war.
In November 1999, in the area of the village of Alleroi, he was part of a reconnaissance group that revealed the location of the gang of militants, attacked them (having recaptured an armored personnel carrier captured earlier) and destroyed three militants. However, reinforcements approached the enemy, militants counterattacked the reconnaissance group. During the battle, Alexander Postoyolko adjusted artillery fire, including at night (by flash of shots), thanks to which the mortar position of the militants and a vehicle with 5 militants were destroyed. Senior Lieutenant Alexander Postoyalko in this battle was wounded in the leg and shell-shocked.
In one of the following battles under enemy fire, he rendered medical assistance to a lieutenant who had his legs torn off by an explosion, stopped the bleeding and crawled on him about a kilometer away from the fire.
By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 22, 2000, for the courage and heroism shown in the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, the guard, Senior Lieutenant Postoalko Alexander Viktorovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of the Golden Star medal. On July 13, 2000 the award itself took place [1] [2] .
After conferring the title of Hero, Alexander Postoyolko continued his service, commanded a battery in the 1141st Guards Artillery Regiment.
- In August 2000 - November 2001 he carried out a peacekeeping mission in the autonomous region of Kosovo: deputy commander of a mortar battery, chief of staff of the base region, chief of the chemical service of the battalion, military inquiry officer.
- In 2002, he was the commander of the 21st separate guard and service company of the 38th separate communications regiment of the Airborne Forces (Shchelkovo, Moscow Region).
- Since 2004 he is the head of the course [3] , later - the senior assistant to the head of the educational unit at the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
