Career
Dieter Riedel spent his entire professional career at the Dynamo Football Club Dresden, with whom he signed a contract in 1967. He played more than two hundred games as part of this team, eventually becoming a five-time winner of the GDR championship. He also twice won the GDR Football Cup .
He ended his career after the 1980/81 season.
Team
Riedel played four matches in the GDR national team from 1974 to 1978. As part of this team, he participated in the Olympic Games , where he becomes a champion [1] .
