Biography
Representative of the Polish princely clan of the Lubomir coat of arms " Druzhina ". The eldest son of Prince Jerzy Gerik of Lubomirsky (1817–1872), the 2nd Ordian of Przeworski (1850–1872) and Cecilia Zamoyskaya (1831–1904). The younger brother is the Galician politician Casimir Lubomirsky.
In 1872, after the death of his father, Andrzej Lubomirsky inherited the Przeworsk Ordination and the estate of Korchin .
He had a doctorate in law . He was one of the leaders of the conservatives in the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria . Curator of the Ossolineum in Lviv .
Since 1887 - a member of the upper chamber of the Reichstag of Austria-Hungary - the "House of Gentlemen".
Since 1897 - Chairman of the Galician Musical Society in Lviv .
Since 1898 - the ambassador ( deputy ) of the Diet of Galicia, since 1907 - deputy of the Vienna Parliament.
In 1889 - 1901, Andrzej Lubomirski was a conservative of antiquities and art in Western Galicia.
Since 1904, President of the Galicia Industrial Assistance League.
In 1914 , as a representative of Podolyakov , he was a member of the eastern section of the Main National Committee in Krakow .
An expert of the Polish delegation at a peace conference in Paris in 1919 on economic issues.
Family and Children
On May 5, 1885, in Krakow, he married Countess Eleanor Theresa Jadwig Gusarzewska (June 5, 1866–1940), daughter of Józef Gusarzewski (1840–1892) and Karolina Yablonovska (1842–1892). Their children:
- Elena Maria Louise (1886-1939), married since 1910 to Count Stanislav Serakovsky (1881-1939)
- Jerzy Rafail Alfred (1887-1978), married since 1927 to Anna Vilamovskaya (1908-1978)
- Teresa Isabella Carolina (1888-1964), married since 1909 to Prince Eustathius Kayetan Sapega-Ruzhansky (1881-1963)
- Maria Innocenta Eva (1894-1979), married since 1922 to Count Stanislav Potulitsky (1893-1988).
