During the reign of Abb-El, a revolt broke out in the Irrit city, ruled by the king’s brother Yarim-Lim. Yarim-Lim himself could not cope with the uprising, and the troops of Abb-El himself attacked the rebels. The uprising was crushed, and the city of Irrit completely destroyed. In order to compensate his brother for the loss of his inheritance, Abba-El gave him the hereditary possession of the city of Alalah with its surroundings. This program was issued by a special agreement, according to which the king Yamhada undertook not to take away from the ruler of Allah and his heirs his possessions, provided that they remained faithful. Thus, a small vassal kingdom of Allah (or Mukish ) was formed with its dynasty, akin to the dynasty of the high kings of Yamhad. Before his sovereign, the ruler of Alalah appeared as a "man", and to his subjects - as a "king." That was probably the position of the other vassal kings in the union headed by Yamhad. [one]
