Indonesian-style vans, minibuses and Angunas, open body trucks, which are the most popular for intercity traffic, also run between the cities of the republic.
Dili is served by the only international airport in East Timor - President Nicolau Lobatu International Airport. There are also several runways in Baucau [1] and DAFIF [2] [3] , Suai and Okussi , they are used for domestic flights. Until recently, at Dili airport, the runway was not able to receive a plane larger than the Boeing 737 or C-130 Hercules , but in January 2008, the Portuguese airline EuroAtlantic Airways used a Boeing 757 for a direct flight from Lisbon , delivering 140 members of the Republican National Guard of Portugal. During the reign of Portugal, the Baucau airport, which has a longer runway, was used for international flights, but after the invasion of Indonesia, the Indonesian military occupied it and was closed to civilian transport.
