Career

Khomich’s career began in the Vladikavkaz Youth, and then he ended up at the local Spartak football school. At the age of 15, he made his debut on a professional level as part of the club of the second Russian division Mozdok . In 2001 he moved to Alanya . The first two and a half seasons in the team played only for understudies and for Alania-2 . He made his debut in the Premier League on August 16, 2003 in the match against Wings of the Soviets , replacing Ilya Bliznyuk, who received a serious head injury, in the 18th minute. In 9 matches of the 2003 championship, he conceded 7 goals, and in 2004 began to get more practice in the main team of Alania (14 games, 23 goals conceded).

After completing a contract with Alania in early 2005, he became a player in Moscow Spartak . For three years in the team he played in only 11 matches (4 of them in the championship) being behind the more experienced goalkeepers - Wojciech Kowalewski and Stipe Pletikosa . In March 2008, he was leased to Spartak-Nalchik [2] , after the end of the 2008 season he returned to Moscow Spartak, but in February 2009 he was re-leased for a year to the club from Nalchik [3] .

In February 2010 he returned to Vladikavkaz “Alania” [4] , where he again became the main guard of the gates. In 2013, he suffered a fracture of the hand [5] and was eliminated for 4 months, and already in 2014 left the team that had withdrawn from the FNL championship . Khomich joined Kairat [6] and accepted Kazakhstani citizenship [7] .

In October 2014, Khomich and four other Kairat players were suspended by the club from training until the end of the season [8] . At the end of November 2014, Khomich terminated the contract with Kairat [9] .

At the beginning of the 2015/16 season he moved to Amkar , but played only one match in the first part of the championship. Then he got a slight injury and the rest of the season was recovering, while helping other club goalkeepers in training. May 19, 2016 extended the agreement with the club for another 1 year. May 30, 2018 left Amkar [10]
