This year's competition is held on clay courts in Bostad , Sweden .

Men's competitions were held from 7 to 13, and women's from July 14 to July 20.

  • in the women's singles - USA Serena Williams
  • in the men's doubles - USA Nicholas Monroe and Germany Simon Stadler
  • in the women's doubles - Spain Anabel Medina Garrigues and Czech Klara Zakopalova

General Information

The first seeding number in the men's singles tournament was the two-time winner of these competitions, David Ferrer (No. 7 in the world at that time). The Spaniard in the quarterfinals lost last year's champion Carlos Burlok. The Argentinean, in turn, could not defend last year’s title, losing to the Portuguese Juan Souza in the semifinals. The winner of the tournament was the representative of Uruguay Pablo Cuevas , who won his debut single title at ATP tournaments .

In the men's doubles, the pair Nicholas Monroe and Johan Brunström won, defeating the first seeded pair Fernando Verdasco and David Marrero in the semifinals. The American won the title for the second time in a row, last year defeating Simon Stadler. The German did not participate in this draw.

The first seeding number in the women's singles tournament was Alize Korne (No. 21 in the world at that time). The Frenchwoman in the first match lost to Estonian Anette Contaveit , who made her way to the main tournament through qualification. Last year's champion Serena Williams did not come to defend her title. The victory in the tournament was unexpectedly won by the uncowed German Mona Barthel . It is noteworthy that during the tournament only one seeded tennis player was able to overcome the first round. She became the sixth seeded German Annika Beck , who also could not hold out for long and dropped out in the second round. Two Russians took part in the competition. The second seeded at the tournament Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova dropped out in the first round, and Alexandra Panova reached the quarter-finals.

The first seeding number in the women's doubles tournament was Julia Gerges and Katarzyna Peter . German and polka dropped out of the quarterfinals. The pair prize for women went to a pair of Andrei Klepach / Maria Teresa Torro Flor . Last year's champions Anabel Medina Garrigues / Klara Zakopalova did not defend their title. The tournament was attended by the Russian woman Alexandra Panova, together with the Frenchwoman Laura Thorpe . This duo dropped out in the second round.
