Kyle device
The shape distinguishes one-sided and two-sided keel. The first as a working part has a long spike, tooth or horn. In this case, the butt can be simply rounded or have the shape of a hammer. Bilateral has either two spikes or a spike and a narrow hoe blade. In profile, the working part has the shape of an arc, which makes the gun more efficient and reduces recoil. The handle, having an extension at the upper end, is inserted into the sleeve from above, which eliminates the possibility of the tool coming off during operation. The hammer on the butt is intended, among other things, to strike the Kyle with a sledgehammer . The hoe blade is convenient for working on fairly dense ground, but where the point is already becoming useless [ specify ] .
Kyle Application
Kylo is quite an ancient instrument, nowadays it is more widely used in underdeveloped states and countries, as well as sometimes by geologists and miners. In the past, it was a widely used geological and mining tool, as well as a tool in construction.

In the literature
Kylo as a symbol of slave labor is mentioned in the song of A. Galich “Clouds” [6] :
I’ve got a horseshoe on a toboggan track
In the ice that I was picking Kyle!
It’s not without reason that I’ve been twenty years old
Trumpeted through those camps.
Kaylo is universally mentioned in V. Shalamov's “ Kolyma Tales ”, which tells about the inhuman work of Gulag prisoners in the permafrost of the Far North. For example, in the poem “About the Song” [7] :
I have crushed stones for many years
Not an angry iamba, but a kyle.
I lived the shame of crime
And eternal truth triumph.
