Buenos Aires ( Spanish Provincia de Buenos Aires , Good Winds Province ) is a province in Argentina . Area 307 571 km ² . The population is 15 625 084 people. (2010). The administrative center is the city of La Plata .

Geography
Almost the entire province is located on the chernozem plain of a wet pampa .
The climate is mild, with precipitation ranging from 250 mm per year in the south to 1,000 mm in the northeast [1] . In winter, cool, sometimes frost occurs at night. Wet, moderate weather characterizes spring and autumn. The average temperature of July is 7–9 ° C, and January is 22–24 ° C.
In February-March and October-November, floods occur due to heavy precipitation. So in March 2013, 57 people died from the flood, 58 thousand buildings were damaged [2] .
Population
The province of Buenos Aires is the most populated and urbanized in the country. Most of the inhabitants are descendants of immigrants from Italy and Spain, as well as France, Germany, Ireland, Eastern Europe and the Arabs. The suburbs of the capital are inhabited mainly by mestizos - migrants from the northern provinces, Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru.

Economy
The largest industrial enterprises of the country are located in the cities of the province. Agriculture is also one of the most developed in the country. Cultivation of wheat , soybeans , corn and sunflower is developed in the plant growing industry .
Also developed tourism from other parts of the country. Especially popular because of the climatic conditions of the sea holiday ( Mar del Plata and other cities of the ocean coast).
