Biography
Born April 4 (16), 1888 in the village. Trofimovschina (now in the Romodanovsky district , Republic of Mordovia ).
Family
- Father Vladimir Ivanovich Yushkov (1864 - 1952 ) - figure of the Russian Orthodox Church, since 1924 bishop.
- Mother Nadezhda Nikolaevna Nesmelova (? - 1892 ).

Education
- From 1894 , he studied for three years at a church school named after Emperor Alexander III , the village of Aleksandrovka, Penza province.
- In 1897 he entered the preparatory class of the Penza I gymnasium , where he studied with the son of the traveling artist K. A. Savitsky . [1]
- From 1898 to 1906 he studied at the Fourth Larinskoye Treasury Classical Gymnasium in the same period as I.F. Gailit [2] in St. Petersburg , graduating with a silver medal.
- 1906 - 1910 - studying at the law faculty of St. Petersburg University. He studied with M. Ya. Lazerson , A.A. Bogolepov , M.O. Cosven .
- 1908 - 1912 - studies at the Faculty of History and Philology of St. Petersburg University . He studied with V. M. Zhirmunsky .
In 1913 he was left, at the request of Professor V.N. Beneshevich , at the Department of Church Russian Law for "preparation for the professorship." [3] Shortly before graduation, S. V. Yushkov married E. P. Boldova, and then, in 1913, he was sent to the University of Freiburg to improve his knowledge of legal sciences. Upon returning from there, he passes master's exams and is allowed to lecture on the history of Russian law, since 1916 - he becomes an assistant at the University of Petrograd [4] [5]
- 1919 - 1927 - due to the closure of the legal departments of higher education after 1918, I was forced, like his senior friend, lawyer A. L. Sakketti , to leave for Saratov , where he works at the historical and philological faculty of the University of Saratov . [6] At this time, laid the foundations of the Saratov scientific school of the history of state and law.
- 1927 - 1930 - teaching at the University of Leningrad .
- From 1930 - 1933 - was elected by the All-Union competition as a professor in the Department of the History of the Peoples of the USSR at the Uzbek State Pedagogical Academy in Samarkand .
- In 1933 - 1934 - teacher of the Dagestan Agro-Pedagogical Institute in Makhachkala .
- From 1934 - 1937 - teacher at the Sverdlovsk State Pedagogical Institute , Siberian Institute of Soviet Law, from 1935, the Sverdlovsk Law Institute .
- In 1935, the Higher Attestation Commission - awarded the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences without defending a dissertation (honoris causa).
- In 1938, he moved from Sverdlovsk to Moscow [7] , became a teacher at the Moscow Law Institute , an employee of VIYUN . [eight]
- Since 1939 - corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR . [9]
- From 1941 - 1943 - lecturer at the 1st State Law Institute of the USSR National Commission for Law in Alma-Ata .
- Since 1944 - lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Moscow State University , Military Law Academy , a staff member of VIYUN.
- In 1946, he was approved in the first academicians of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR [10] and became director of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR .
- Since 1948 - a senior researcher at the All-Union Correspondence Law Institute .
Yushkov S. V. the founder of science "history of state and law." He owns the fundamental research of Russian Truth , on feudal relations in Kievan Rus, and priority publications of sources of Russian law. He died on August 14, 1952 in Maloyaroslavets [11] . He was buried there , on August 17, at the city cemetery next to his father, Bishop Seraphim [12] .
