Dipalladium gallium forms crystals of rhombic syngony , space group P nma , cell parameters a = 0.54829 nm, b = 0.40560 nm, c = 0.77863 nm, Z = 4, structure like dicobalt silicide Co 2 Si [1] [4 ] ] [3] .
The compound melts congruently at a temperature of 1310 ° C, has a large homogeneity region: at a temperature of ≈1020 ° C, 26–36 at% gallium [1] .
