History
Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg No. 1368 dated 10/07/2010 designed streets in the new district " Northern Valley " were given names in honor of famous figures of culture and art of the Russian north. The street, which previously appeared in plans as a continuation of the 5th Upper Lane , was named Nikolay Rubtsov Street , in honor of the lyric poet N. M. Rubtsov .
The real construction of the first section, from Fyodor Abramov Street to Valery Gavrilin Street, began only in 2013 , ended in the summer of 2014 , and was officially opened for travel in November 2014 [1] .
On June 30, 2017, Nikolay Rubtsov Street was extended to Engels Avenue [2] . This ensured a second exit from the Northern Valley microdistrict.
