Born in Paris, Dieudonne made his film debut in the 1908 silent film The Assassination of the Duke of Guise , accompanied by Camille Saint-Saens . In 1924 he directed the film drama Katrina , in which he also acted as the main character. Jean Renoir financed the film and was an assistant director. In the film, the wife of Renoir Catherine Gessling made his film debut. [1]
From 1915 to 1916, Dieudonne starred in five films directed by Abel Hans , including the 1915 film Madness of Dr. Tyub and the 1916 film Periscope . In 1927, he was recruited back to star in the lead role in the Hans epic film Napoleon . In 1929, Dieudonne wrote a novel, on the basis of which the musical comedy La Douceur D'Aimer (Sweetness of Love) was shot in 1930, and in 1936 he wrote the script for the film La Garçonne.
Albert Dieudonne died in Paris in 1976.
