Biography
Shearer moved from Southampton to Blackburn Rovers for £ 3.6 million (contract was concluded July 24, 1992). In 1995, set a Premier League record, scoring 36 goals in 42 matches, which lasted 22 years and was surpassed by Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 [2] .
After the championship season at Blackburn, at the personal invitation of Bobby Robson , Newcastle United acquired Alan for a record then 15 million pounds (July 30, 1996).
At Newcastle United , Alan spent 10 seasons writing his name in the history of the club and all of English football. On September 12, 2016, a monument was unveiled to Alan Shearer at the Newcastle Stadium [3] .
In 1996, he took third place in the vote "Best Player of the Year" according to FIFA. During his career, he scored 283 goals in national championships, including a record 260 goals in the Premier League (58 of them from the penalty spot), with a record number of hat-tricks in the Premier League (11), and only 422 goals in all competitions, including international competitions at all levels. The debut for the national team took place on February 19, 1992 in the match against France at Wembley . The match ended 2-0 - Shearer himself scored. Coaching career
After completing a career in 2006, Shearer began working on the BBC as a television expert.
