Isaev, Serafim Ivanovich

Born on October 22 (according to other sources , December 22 ), 1914 in the village of Alekseevskoye of the Russian Empire, now the Alekseevsky district of Tatarstan.

In 1935 he entered the Kazan Aviation Institute , after which, on February 21, 1941, he began working at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. From September 1945 to April 1948 he was the head of the personnel department. Then he went through the production stages from the technologist to the head of the workshop, and in 1950-1956 - from the head of production to the chief engineer. From 1957 to 1975, Serafim Ivanovich headed the enterprise as its director. From 1975 to 1989, Serafim Ivanovich worked as deputy chief engineer.

As a director, Isaev paid much attention to creating infrastructure for aircraft factory workers, with his participation the first swimming pool in the Buryat Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , the Rassvet Culture Palace, was built, and in 1971, the Vostochny settlement began to be built. He took part in social activities, being elected three times as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of 7–9 convocations. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

He died on December 2, 1989 in Ulan-Ude.

• In 1971, S.I. Isaev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin .
• He was also awarded the second Order of Lenin, the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals.

• One of the streets of the Vostochny settlement in the Zheleznodorozhny district, where the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant is located, is named after the Hero. ^[four]
